Last Update: 24 February 2008

SITE:
Site opens at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2008
and closes at Noon on Sunday, September 21, 2008.
Troll will remain open all night Thursday and Friday nights.

Thursday evening will have very little if any activities scheduled and is generally used
    for campsite set-up.

Friday morning will have a few activities scheduled but will be mainly used by the
marshals to finish setting up the battlefields and ranges.  MITs are especially
encouraged to make themselves useful (and get signatures) at this time.

Site closes at Noon on Sunday to allow staff and their helpers time to put all of the
toys away.  Feel free to volunteer your help if you don't have a long drive ahead of you.

Food:

This event is designed for people who have better things to do than cook meals, and would
rather bring an extra person in their car than extra camp gear.

Friday night there will be a free barbeque during the torchlight tourney.
Burgers, chips and drinks will be served on disposable feast gear. A Good Will donation
is always accepted and feel free to bring your own beverages if soda and iced tea aren't your
first choice in the evening.

A Battle Kitchen will be open all day Saturday and on Sunday morning. Here you will be able
to get coffee and a roll, some fruit and/or instant oatmeal for breakfast. Lunch will consist
of a soup, fruit, bread, cheese and drinks.

Whole Hog Roast - Saturday night after Court we will feast on a locally grown hog slowly
roasted over charcoal. This is a potluck dinner, meaning we will provide the roasted hog
and buns, and the general populace will fill the tables with dishes they have brought or
prepared as contributions. Last year the tables groaned with items ranging from hot dogs
and chips for the kids, to dishes prepared as if for an A&S competition. Disposable feast
gear will be available at the Roast. Free Will cash donations will also be accepted.

Because of possible allergies and other dietary concerns, it is suggested that contributors
of food items to the Hog Roast label the dish with their name and a list of ingredients.
Index cards will be made available.

A Hospitality Tent will be open at the Hog Roast. Beverages suitable for those under and
over the age of 21 will be served. The latter choice will require proof of legal age.
