Poster features legendary New Orleans jazz clarinetist, Pete Fountain, a founder and one of the most prominent members of The Half Fast Walking Club, one of the best known marching Krewes that parades in New Orleans during Mardi Gras. Fountain commissioned native New Orleans artist, Brad Thompson to paint "a collage of all that encompasses his part in starting 'the carnival' each year in New Orleans."
