NMM 6047. Flute by Uzal Miner, Hartford, Connecticut, ca. 1811-1822. Stamped on all joints: MINER / HARTFORD. Conical. Three sections. Boxwood with brass ferrule, one key (missing). Total length, 22-3/4" (580 mm). This rare instrument is the only known, extant, complete flute by Uzal Miner. Ex coll.: Jack E. Werner, Ann Arbor, Michigan. Board of Trustees, 1997.
