NMM 4710. Flute in C (low pitch) by C. G. Conn Ltd., Elkhart, ca. 1927. Serial no. 206192. New Wonder model 10-O. Boehm system, closed hole, C foot. Two sections. Engraved on socket: -MADE BY- / C. G. Conn Ltd. / ELKHART, IND. / -U. S. A.-; surrounded by an engraved, five-petal flower and leaves; stamped on upper end of body: 10-O-206192-CL; stamped on head-joint tenon and underneath G-sharp key: 206192. Nickel-silver-plated ("Liberty Silver," a composition metal trademarked by Conn). Ebonite rollers. Fifteen nickel-silver keys. Closed G-sharp key. Total length, 26-5/8" (676 mm). Arne B.
