NMM 3091. Flute in C (high pitch) by C. G. Conn, Elkhart, ca. 1904. Serial no. 9146. Wonder line. Boehm system, closed hole, C foot. Two sections. Engraved on socket: -MADE BY - / C. G. CONN / ELKHART / -IND.-; stamped on body below socket and under G-sharp key: 9146; stamped on body on top rib: H. Nickel plated. Ebonite embouchure plate and index finger rest with inlaid, mother-of-pearl dots. Ebonite c and c-sharp rollers. Sixteen nickel-plated keys. Closed G-sharp key; G trill key; B trill key; no B-flat lever. Total length, 25-1/4" (640 mm). W. Wayne Sorensen Collection, 1982.
