Four sections (missing barrel and bell). Stamped on top joint: DÉPOSÉ / HENRI / SELMER / PARIS (HENRI / SELMER / PARIS within a wreath) / FRANCE / Centered (diagonal script) / Tone (diagonal script). Stamped on bottom joint: HENRI / SELMER / PARIS (within a wreath). Serial number * / P6999. Unfinished, experimental Selmer-Mazzeo “Centered-Tone” Full-Boehm model 808. Grenadilla body; German-silver keys, ferrules. Key modifications: most keys and rings removed; some tone holes plugged and re-drilled; special, large thumb-plateau key; special, left-hand throat a1 and g-sharp1 keys; two split, right-hand, little-finger keys. Length (top of top joint to bottom of bottom joint, excluding tenons): 457.0 mm.
