MOVING AWAY FROM HOME DOES NOT MEAN ONE SHOULD MOVE AWAY FROM THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE LORD. OUR MISSION IS TO CONNECT STUDENTS WITH COLLEGE MINISTRIES PROGRAMS AND FIND STUDENTS A CHURCH HOME AWAY FROM HOME.

What is LSF? Lutheran Student Fellowship is an organization geared towards college students. Here at the University of South Dakota, LSF is just getting started. Our goal is to reach out to students and share with them the Gospel message. LSF provides a way to actively maintain their faith while away at college.

What do we do? LSF sponsors a monthly activity (usually involving food) to gather students and the congregation in fellowship. Previous activities have ranged from BBQ and volleyball to Thanksgiving Dinner to a Spaghetti Supper. Bible studies are held bi-weekly focusing on various topics. You can also find updates about our activities from the church bulletin or the monthly newsletter. The Student Center is open from 7 to 10 PM on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of every week. It is a great place to relax, study, or just hang out.

LSF Activities

· Fall semester meeting schedule: All events are held at Concordia Lutheran Church on the corner of Main and University unless otherwise stated.

· Every Wednesday LSF meeting and Bible Study 7:30 pm MUC 203

· October 25 Movie night at Concordia Lutheran Church, movie Luther

· October 31 5:30 – 7:30 Halloween party for the community at Concordia

· November 1 Movie night at Concordia Lutheran Church, movie Angles and Demons

· December 2 LSF Advent supper
