The American Legion Auxiliary members of South Dakota welcome you to the 2009 Girl State Program.You will be enjoying a fantastic week of learning and meeting girls from all over the state of South Dakota.  You will develop friendship that will last forever.  This year, 2009, will be the 63^rd Session for the Girl State Program.

 

What a wonderful opportunity for each of you to learn about democracy and government. This will be a week of learning and an experience that you will never forget. Please get involved in the programs that are offered. Your involvement will make this experience more enjoyable and you will learn more by being involved.  Each of you young ladies that are chosen for Girl State are special and have the talents to get involved and make this a very reward able experience.

 

The American Legion Auxiliary Girl State program is something you will remember for a lifetime and is a honor for you to be chosen.   The ladies of the American Legion Auxiliary wish for each of you to have a fantastic time of making new friends, and learning about democracy and government.  Get involved, make new friends and enjoy your experience at Girl State.
