     Summer Camp 2009!!

 

Dear Dance Team coach:

 

We are pleased to invite your team to the 5th annual U-Dance Summer Camp!  The camp will run from Tuesday, July 21st, until Thursday, July 23rd.   It will be held at the Dakota Dome on the campus of USD in Vermillion, SD. 

 

The camp is geared towards teams, but individuals are welcome to attend.  Your team will learn the Camp Routine, up to six style routines, and technical skills such as leaps and turns.  The choreographed routines will differ in style (jazz, funk, kick, or pom) and level of difficulty.  The Camp Routine will feature elements of all four styles.  A member of U-Dance will also be assigned as your team’s “custom coach” and will work with you each day on your team’s specific needs. 

 

On the final day of camp, each squad’s Camp Routine will be evaluated in a mini-competition.  Team awards will also be given out by U-Dance.  Our camp is a great way to get a head start on the new season!

 

Cost: Commuter Camper (not staying at USD dorms)

-$80 per participant (includes instruction and t-shirt)

-$95 per participant (includes instruction, t-shirt, and lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday at USD Commons)

 

Cost: Coaches

-$25 per coach (includes camp CD and t-shirt)

-$40 per coach (includes camp CD, t-shirt, and lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday at USD Commons)

 

Cost: Residential Camper (staying overnight in USD dorms and Food Services)

-$160 per participant (includes instruction, t-shirt, six meals, and two nights in dorms)

-$100 per coach (includes t-shirt, camp CD, six meals, and two nights in dorms)

            *Coaches must stay in dorms with their teams and are responsible for them.

 

A non-refundable deposit of $35 per participant is required on or before Saturday May 30th. Make checks payable to USD Dance Team.  There will be a $10 late fee for any registrations after May 30th.  Please send form and payment to:
