• The USD Dance Team, also known as South Dakota Dance Team, provides a great opportunity for USD students to dance at the collegiate level.  The team dances at pep rallies, all home men's basketball and football games, some women's basketball games, and various campus, and community events. The team also competes in a national competition each year which is held in Daytona Beach, Florida.
• In order to compete nationally, the team puts in a fair amount of practice time.  We practice four days a week for two hours in the fall and add on as needed to prepare for nationals
• South Dakota Dance also provides dance clinics for elementary & middle school students once during football season and once for basketball season.  Some members also choreograph routines for area high school teams.  Contact us and we can help your dance team!
• The South Dakota Dance Team receives MINIMAL financial assistance from the university, but we work very hard in order to represent USD to our greatest ability. Uniforms, competition fees, plane tickets, all add up as you know, and we desperately need your support! In return for your sponsorship, we will advertise your business here on our website and on all the t-shirts used for our two seasonal kid's clinics.
